The Search Menu is designed to get you to the information you want as quickly and easily as possible. If you know the kind of item, the manufacturer's name, and the name of the pattern you are interested in, you can choose the type of item from the Products drop down menu, choose the manufacturer's name from the Manfacturer drop down menu or type the name in the Manufacurer's name text entry box, type the pattern name in the Pattern name or # box, and click the Search button, and you will be brought directly to a list of items for sale.

It is also designed to help you find the items you are interested in even if your knowledge regarding them is limited. Just fill in whatever information you do have and click Search. If you have the manufacturer's name, but not the pattern name, you can choose or type in the manufacturer's name, and a list of the patterns made by that manufactuer will be returned. Click on the icon that appears in the top right hand part of the page listing the pattern names, and thumbnail images of all the patterns we have photos of will be returned. Click on any thumbnail to view a larger version of the image.

If you are not sure of a pattern name or a manufacturer's name, the text entry boxes for Manufacturer's name and Pattern name or # will perform searches on the first letter or letters of a name. For instance, if you do nothing but type the letter  b  in the Pattern name or # box, (leaving the drop down menus on their default settings and the Manufacturer's name text entry box blank) and then click Search, you will be brought to a list of all patterns beginning with  b, of all types of Products, by all Manufacturers. (From the pattern name list, again, you can go to the Photos pages.) If you do nothing but type the letters  so  in the Manufacturer's name box, and click Search, you will be brought to a list of all manufacturers whose names begin with the letters  so . You can always enter whatever information you have, however incomplete, and begin browsing and refining your search from there.

A little experimentation with different combinations of drop down menu choices and text box entries should serve to familiarize you wih the engine's operations fairly quickly. If you have problems, we will be happy to help if you email us at info@china-crystal-flatware.com.
